LEAD DAY
This day is booked for target shooting using long guns. Please, bring your own firearms according to the law. Be sure to have your PAL with you. Participants that do not have PAL, must be accompanied by someone who does have it. Tickets are on sale till Monday November 16th.
We shall run a small competition using the following firearms:
- SKS (7.62×39)
- Shot Gun (slug only)
- Small caliber rifle (.22)

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Eye Protection
- Hearing Protection
- Outfit appropriate for the target shooting and weather
- Have your R/PAL on you are handling firearms
- Those who do not have R/PAL must always have someone next to him/her
SAFETY RULES:
- ALWAYS keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.
- ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard until ready to shoot.
- ALWAYS keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
- Whenever you handle a firearm, the first thing you should do (while keeping it pointed in a safe direction with your finger outside the trigger guard) is to open the action to determine whether or not the firearm is loaded.
- Know your target and what is beyond.
- Always verify the target and surrounding areas are safe before firing.
- Know how to operate the firearm safely.
- Handle all firearms as if they are loaded.
- Be sure the firearm is safe to operate. Before discharging your firearm, you should routinely make sure that your firearm is in good working order and that the barrel is clear of dirt and obstructions.
- Only use ammunition recommended by the firearm manufacturer, and always be certain that the ammunition matches the caliber of your firearm.
- When the firing line is active, quality ear and eye protection must be worn by shooters and observers.
- Never use alcohol, over-the-counter, prescription, or other drugs before or while shooting.
Store firearms unloaded and secured in safe storage cases so they are not accessible to unauthorized persons. Control access, as necessary, to your firearms while downrange. - Thoroughly read the instruction manual supplied with your firearm.
- The transportation of firearms is regulated by Federal, State, and local laws. Always transport your firearm in a safe, unloaded condition and in accordance with applicable laws.
- When multiple parties are shooting, they shall shoot from the same firing line.
Can I participate with no PAL?
Yes. You may participate. However, you may not handle any firearms without the direct supervision of a licensed individual.
Do I need to bring my own items to participate?
Yes, you must have your own rifle(s) and ammo or borrow it from your friend.
What if I want to participate, but do not have firearm?
You must either bring your own firearm, or borrow it from someone. Be sure to talk to person in advance if you are borrowing firearm for the tournament. You must still follow all the laws, regulations, and safety rules when handling borrowed firearm.
Can I buy ammunition at the event?
Yes. We shall have some ammo for sale. However, we recommend you to bring your own ammo for several reasons:
- as some firearms may not be compatible.
- ammo for sale will be with added cost. For example 7.62×39 round may cost you 10-20 cents extra.
