UNIFIGHT “BASTION” (Sep 4-5)

UNIFIGHT “BASTION” is a FAMILY event aimed at activities for children 6-15 years of age and their parents. Both Unifight competitions and “BASTION” survival are physically active events held outside when temperatures maybe 25 degrees and above. Therefore, we require that at least 1 parent be always available to support their kid(s), ensure that child is well hydrated, and playing it safe. The event is aimed at strengthening family bonds between parent and child. Whether it is cheering for your kid or helping to complete a survival objective, either will leave a positive footprint in your child’s memory that will be remembered for life.

IMPORTANT: this event is not a usual camping or summer camp for kids. UNIFIGTH “BASTION” is for families who want to spend quality time together with their kids. If this is not what you intend to do, then, please, do not register.

Registration

There are 3 types of registrations:

1. Child Participant – participates in BASTION survival camp and UNIFIGHT competitions.
2. Adult Participant – participates and supervises his/her child in BASTION survival camp and UNIFIGHT competitions.
3. Guest – Additional family member(s) that observe events but do not take an active part in them.
4. Children 0-5 years of age – Free of charge as guests.

For example: if the family arrives with 4 adults and 1 child, then registration should be as follows: 1 Child Participant, 2 Adult Participants, and 2 Guests.

IMPORTANT: Unpaid registrations will be canceled after 1 week unless arrangements are made with regards to payment.

Participation requirement for Children:

• Nerf Gun – we’ll have missions for kids that will require shooting with nerf gun. It is also recommended for parents to have one too.
• Safety goggles or glasses to protect eyes from foam projectiles
• Backpack with tools to build a shelter for the night in the woods.
  • Paracord (10m) – can be purchased at Dolar store or Home Depot
  • Multitool (if parent permits the child to carry one)
  • Snacks
  • Water (minimum 1L)
• Proper clothing to protect from bugs and scratches.
• Long pants and fully closed footwear are required while in the forest.

Participation requirement for Parents:

• Nerf Gun – Parents will be playing shooting games together with children.
• Necessary tools to help children build shelter
  • Knife
  • Small ax or small saw to cut tree branches
• Safety goggles or glasses
• Basic first aid kit to treat scratches and bug bites
• Bug spray

Day 1:

• 10:00 – Registration
• 11:00 – Campcraft
• 13:00 – Combat mission
• 13:30 – Return to the main campground for lunch
• 16:00 – Campcraft
• 17:00 – Nurf Gun Final Battle

CYBER SAFETY & EDUCATION

• 19:00 – 19:30 –  Seminar for children
• 19:30 – 20:30 – Seminar for teens 11-15 y.o.

Day 2

• 10:00 – Unifight Competitions
  • 10:00 – Practice session
  • 12:00 – Competitions
• 15:00 – Award ceremony
