PANDEMIC ESCAPE: WAVE I

DESCRIPTION

PANDEMIC ESCAPE is a survival-focused training where each participant will be required to prepare for. You will work in a team of randomly selected participants. You’ll have to organize with your team and rely on each other’s strong qualities to survive through the night and fight for resources against another team. It is OK if you don’t know how to do something.

Any success or failure of the team and its members will result in gaining or losing points that will determine who wins.

Anything that participant is unable to carry to their camp and drops halfway – can no longer be used. So pack smart; we’ll have a long walk.

PREREQUISITES

• Airsoft gun and ammunition
  • FPS must be within legal limits.
• Eye Protection
  • ANSI Z87+ compliant.
• Radio to stay connected with your team
• Read or have on you a survival guide
  • Example: SAS Survival Guide (pleas, buy it if you like the content)
• Backpack with the necessary gear to sustain you for 2 days.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

This game will be governed by the engagement rules developed for Airsoft – Rules of Engagement.

Rules permit the use of:

• Airsoft guns
• Airsoft explosive grenades
• Smoke grenades
• Training knives

Rules are simple, yet different from the most airsoft games. So, make sure to read them as they may help you to survive in critical moments.

OBJECTIVES

Camp Objectives:

• Build shelter
• Start and sustain fire
• Improve defensive capabilities

Study various ways of doing this you’ll compete with another team on speed, quality, and other criteria. Details are going to be disclosed during the game.

Competitive Objectives:

Teams will compete with each other in areas such as:

• First aid
• Handling weapons
• Backpacking
• Tactics

Strategic Objectives:

Throughout the training, each team will have strategic objectives. You may require special equipment to increase your chances of successful completion of these objectives such as drones, grenades, night time and day time optics. Exact details of objectives in each category will be disclosed during the training.

• Area domination
• Sabotage
• Espionage

Special Objectives

Special objectives give a large number of points.

• Harvest food using natural resources
  • The result will be evaluated based on calories, total weight, and taste.
• Have as many teammates survive through the game without being killed
