PANDEMIC: UK STRAIN

WAVE III: STORYLINE

Private Military Organization(s) failed to complete their mission; thus reinforcements are sent to search regain control over the crash site and locate missing components.

Meanwhile, locals (the Wild) have started to notice the effects of the pandemic that is significantly different from what was reported a year ago. Infected were becoming aggressive and would attack even their loved ones.

PANDEMIC ESCAPE

A survival-focused game for which each participant will be required to think through and prepare their gear. As a player, you’ll be placed into a team and rely on each other’s strong qualities to survive through the night, as well as fight for supplies against other teams. UK STRAIN introduces 3rd faction called INFECTED in addition to CONTRACTORS and The WILD.

The WILD – team plays in moderate mode, where it is easier to oppose more experienced and heavily armed players from opposing team(s). This team is newbie-friendly.

CONTRACTORS – are well-equipped players who are willing to take on an extra challenge and play in a smaller group, while relying more on experience, tactical knowledge, special equipment, and better guns. (Experienced Players)

INFECTED – is a dynamic team comprised of players from both of the above teams that are careless enough to get infected.

Participants may not return to their cars and must carry everything they’ll use in-game with them. That includes sleeping gear, food, water, etc. Anything that participant is unable to carry to their camp – can no longer be used. So pack smart.

PREREQUISITES

• Airsoft gun and ammunition
  • Contractors may bring their own ammunition as much as they can carry.
  • The Wild may enter the game with 1 loaded magazine. Through the game, they will be able to obtain ammo as a reward for successfully completed missions.
  • Ammunition may also be obtained by searching neutralized Contractors. Some of them may carry a certain amount of ammunition to be confiscated.
• Eye Protection
  • ANSI Z87+ compliant. (MANDATORY)
• Backpack with the necessary gear to sustain you for 2 days.
  • Refer to the packing list.
• Game Attributes (*NEW)
  • Some kind of an ugly airsoft mask to wear when infected. Zombie masks will work as well. (MUST PROTECT EYES OR ALLOW TO WEAR EYE PROTECTION)
  • GAS Mask (must comply with “Eye Protection” section above)
    • Mandatory for Contractors
    • Optional for The Wild

• Radio to stay connected with your team while on the mission
• Read or have on you a survival guide
  • Example: SAS Survival Guide (pleas, buy it if you like the content);
  • This guide can help you to set up a shelter and properly equip your camp to remain concealed for as long as possible.
